DSI PhysioTel Large Animal Telemetry Implant, 56.0 g, 3 mos, model L21 is manufactured by Data Sciences Internatinal, Inc.
The DSI PhysioTel Large Animal Telemetry Implant can monitor physiological signal parameters in awake, freely moving large animals, such as dogs, monkeys, pigs, sheep, horses, or cattle. Researchers can choose from a variety of implant models to monitor pressure, bioelectricity, temperature, activity, etc. according to their needs. The pressure includes: arterial pressure, intraocular pressure, uterine pressure, penile pressure, bladder pressure, pleural pressure, left ventricular pressure, etc. Other parameters include heart rate, systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure, mean blood pressure, etc., and bioelectrical signals include ECG, EEG, EMG as well as temperature and activity. The implant contains the same physiologic channels as the L11 model, but adds a second pressure channel. This implant is ideal for scientists who want to collect systemic pressure, left ventricular pressure, or others including bladder, thoracic, uterine and pleural pressure in addition to several other parameters.
