DURAN® Flat Flange Round Bottom Flask manufactured by DWK Life Science is made from 3.3 expansion borosilicate glass. The flange on the flask has a groove into which a silicone (VMQ) or FEP sealing ring can be inserted to ensure a tight flange seal. Their geometry and heavy wall thickness make these suitable for use under positive pressure and vacuum.
