Description

ECM PHANTOM Fan Filter Units manufactured by Gordon Incorporated provide air filtration with the highest performance, the quietest operation, and the lowest operating cost for cleanrooms.
ECM PHANTOM units are the most energy efficient units. Electronically commutated motors (ECM) deliver high torque values while consuming minimal energy.
Compared to conventional motor technology, this leading-edge motor technology has a significantly lower operating cost and pays for its cost premium within two years.
The units include all the features necessary for most FFU applications.

Pre-filter frame: top housing and sides are fabricated from galvanized steel
Motor/blower: 1/3 HP ECM tri-voltage motor, can be wired for 115/240/277 VAC/10" forward curve centrifugal blower
Filter: HEPA, 2" media pack with 3" anodized aluminum frame
Pre-filter: Merv 4 fiberglass, nominal 20" x 20" x 1"

Control And Monitoring Options: In addition to the Visual Control Unit (VCU) for manual speed adjustment with digital display, ECM PHANTOM is equipped with a Modbus RTU interface which can be used to communicate with remote Building Management Systems (BMS) of Industrial Automation System (IAS) software architectures.
Low Noise: The unit operates at an exceptionally quiet noise level of NC-40 when set to high speed.
Safety: ECM PHANTOM is listed and approved by U.L. and CUL.
Reliability: Motors generally can be expected to last over 11 years, with a rating of 100,000 hours.
Replaceable Prefilters: HEPA final filters are protected and extended in life by MERV 4 prefilters.
Perforated Air Diffuser Face Screen: The perforated aluminum face screens provide both unidirectional airflow and protection for the HEPA filter media.
