Linear low density polyethylene (LLDPE) is stronger than its low density polyethylene (LDPE) counterpart, making these ideal for containment of potentially hazardous material. Each Infectious Waste Biohazard Bag features a star-sealed bottom for additional strength.
Elkay Biohazard Bags are used to collect discarded potentially infectious dressings and other infectious waste in hospitals and other care facilities. Biohazard Bags meet federal and state regulations for tear resistance of 480 g (ASTM D1922) and impact resistance of 165 g (ASTM D1709). Bags are packaged on rolls in an easy-to-dispense box and are available in mulitple sizes with 2 to 45 gallon capacities.
