The Eppendorf Centrifuge 5417 C is a non-refrigerated benchtop centrifuge that can be used in research and routine laboratories in the biological sciences, in the medical and industrial fields. Eppendorf microtubes can be centrifuged at 20800 rcf (14000 rpm). Using special 24-bit rotors, it is possible to reach rcfs of up to 25000. For special applications, the swinging bucket rotor is available with 8 positions for centrifugation of Epdorf microcuvettes at a maximum speed of 10500 rpm (11700 rcf). PCR tubes can be centrifuged in a rotor that can hold six 8-tube strips.
