The HA filter has a pore size of 0.45μm is designed to completely retain and maximize the recovery of total coliform bacteria and fecal coliform bacteria. Comply with applicable US EPA standard methods and ASTM specifications for membrane filters for drinking water analysis. The HC filter type with a pore size of 0.7μm is designed to improve the recovery rate of stressed fecal coliform organisms, especially those found in chlorinated effluents. If the particle load of the water sample is high, a larger pore size can speed up the filtration rate. Both filters are cellulose acetate/nitrocellulose mixed ester. Sterile and sealed separately.
