FlowPrep 060 applies both heat and inert gas flow to the sample. First, the heat causes the contaminants to desorb from the surface, and then, the inert gas flow sweeps them out of the sample tube. The temperature, gas and flow rate are adjustable to fit your sample material and application. The needle valve allows you to slowly introduce flowing gas to prevent fluidization of the sample.
