Description

G-Trap™ Ni IDA Sepharose Fast Flow Columns are ready-to-use prepacked affinity columns for the purification of proteins based on immobilized metal ion affinity chromatography (IMAC).

IMAC is formed by the interaction of transition metal cations such as Ni2+ and Co2+ with protein residues histidine, cysteine and to some extent tryptophan. In G-Trap™ Ni IDA Agarose Fast Flow, Ni2+ is immobilized on cross-linked 6% agarose through iminodiacetic acid groups (IDA) covalently bound to the resin.

G-Trap™ Ni IDA Agarose Fast Flow is designed for the purification of recombinant proteins fused to a 6-fold histidine (6XHis) tag.

Additional G-Trap™ IDA Agarose Fast Flow columns are available in 1 mL and 5 mL column volumes for G-Trap™ Co IDA Agarose Fast Flow. You can choose between the appropriate columns according to your needs.
