Gel Comb maufactured by Alpha Laboratories is designed for use with Clarit-E electrophoresis gel tanks. The combs feature a 2 piece construction with a rigid back which prevents warping if placed into agarose which is too hot. They are also height adjustable enabling you to adjust sample volumes further. The combs with different sample wells are provided to meet different sample processing requirements. In addition, combs are available in 4 different thicknesses. Thinner combs minimise the sample volume and ensure sharp narrow bands, making them suitable for samples which are valuable. Thicker combs are better when samples need to be recovered for further processing.
