Description

Combining the Selective Chemistry of His60 Ni Superfluid Resin with Magnetic Bead Separation. When placed on a magnetic separator, the magnetic particles in the beads help separate minute amounts of proteins quickly and easily. The modified Ni-IDA chemistry makes this resin one of the best on the market in terms of capacity, metal ion leakage and purity when compared to other nickel-based resins such as Ni-NTA or other Ni-IDA resins.

Highly specific binding and elution

His60 Ni magnetic beads have high specificity for binding high molecular weight his-tagged proteins. Purified proteins were eluted in small volumes (50-200 μl), resulting in concentrated samples (up to 3 mg/ml). His60 Ni magnetic beads are supplied as a 5% suspension with a binding capacity of 1.65 mg of protein per mL of suspension.

Microscale screening

Microscale purification with His60 Ni magnetic beads can be used for screening expression levels or protein-protein interaction studies. Additionally, the use of His60 Ni chemistry allows seamless scaling up of the purification of target proteins using our standard His60 Ni superfluid resins.
