The ISE IL 943 flame photometer is an instrument for the automatic determination of sodium, potassium and lithium concentrations in serum plasma and aqueous solutions. Sampling, calibration, zeroing, aspirating, dilution, analysis, printing and waste disposal are all automatically controlled by an on-board microcomputer. Other computer-controlled functions include data, fuel and air monitoring, operator guidance and instrument diagnostics.

Cesium standards measure Na, K and Li without conversion, providing faster analysis and less salt accumulation. Throughput of 100 samples per hour can be achieved. Lithium results are as fast as Na/K results.

Virtually trouble-free suction/flame systems require minimal maintenance. The positive displacement plunger dilution system eliminates the maintenance problems of peristaltic pumps. It allows analysis of samples as small as 20uL and eliminates the need for large volumes of distilled water. The nebulizer allows a stable and precise inhalation rate.

Integral thermal strip printer lists cup number test type and results, or serial number in STAT mode. The ISE IL 943 flame photometer can be ordered with or without a built-in printer and automatic sampling system.
