The iSPIM-Single-Sided Selective Plane Illumination Microscopy is manufactured by Applied Scientific Instrumentation, which creates a light sheet from one objective lens and uses another objective lens for imaging. The light sheet moves in the sample, the most common is to use a scanner (galvo) to move the light sheet, and the scanner and the piezoelectric stage move the imaging objective in synchronization.
