The design of the Latitude Series C Filtered Hood uses a rear wall pre-filter and a HEPA filter. This design can pull potentially harmful particles out of the operator's breathing area, thereby increasing the capture of particles and vapors. The standard configuration of each Latitude Series C Filtered Hood is two power cord access ports, a waste connection port and a dark blue base for working surface comparison. The Latitude Series C Filtered Hood incorporates the Saf-T-Zone™ filter system to isolate the pre-filter and main HEPA filter during filter change out. Latitude Series C Filtered Hood continue to operate and provide sealing during the replacement of the main pre-filter and HEPA filter. The EverSafe™ microprocessor controller is standard on every Latitude Series C Filtered Hood. If airflow or filter problems occur during operation, EverSafe continuously monitors the entire filtration system and alerts the end user with audible and visual alarms.
