LimiTrol Limiting Temperature Controls, model 104A PC512 is manufactured by Glas-Col LLC. This product can provide a safe backup for the laboratory heating process by limiting excessive temperatures. When the process temperature is exceeded, limitrol will terminate the power supply to the main controller, thus reducing damage to samples, equipment and glassware due to overheating. The device has a manual reset function, which means that the power supply will remain off until the operator recovers the system. The set point dial is calibrated in 20 ° C increments and the load and thermocouple sockets are located on the front panel for easy access.
