The Lumex 566DG Deluxe Clinical Care Drop Arm Recliner provided by GF Health Products, Inc. features a unique, heavy-duty recline mechanism to provide patient comfort and clinical efficiency, allowing the patient to position the recliner back from TV position to full recline. Considering therapeutic purposes, the Recliner also has an extra deep Trendelenburg position which is easily activated by the careprovider using a footpedal. The extra-long padded armrests support patient arms even in the Trendelenburg position.
The Recliner has dual drop arms which is easy to slide down to allow patient transfer in either direction. The padded back and seat ensure patient comfort over long periods of sitting. The integrated footrest of Recliner more evenly distributes weight and relieves patient discomfort. It is easy to exit the recliner thanks to the high floor-to-back height.
The Lumex 566DG features a durable and easy to clean epoxy coated welded steel frame, providng a weight capacity of 350 lbs. The Lumex 566DG is equipped with four tente swivel casters, making it easy to move in confined areas, and left and right rear top-locking casters provide positive lock. The right rear caster has a directional wheel lock to reduce lateral drift of the recliner and allow the recliner to be moved down hallways with less effort.
