Considering patient safety, Standard Care Foam Mattresses have four separate geometic support zones to reduce tissue interface pressures and a breathable top cover that moves with the patient to reduce shearing and skin breakdown.
Easy to maintain and clean, the soft and durable Chemlux II top covers are also bacteria-resistant, flame-retardant, fluid-resistant, anti-fungal, anti-static, non-allergenic, and have near 0 percent vapor transmission. The Chemsafe bottom covers offer much of the same protection. The Lumex Standard Care Hospital Bed Mattresses offer the optimal dual coverage to prevent bedsores by distributing pressure and keeping the surface, and therefore the patient, clean and dry.
The Standard Care Mattress is latex-free for those with sensitive skin or allergies. Lumex's Foam Pad meets 16 CFR 1633 requirements and the requirements of HCPCS code: E0184. The Foam Hospital Mattress is available in several sizes.
