Description

MaXtar® Heparin is an affinity chromatography medium created by covalently coupling heparin to an agarose matrix. Heparin, a naturally occurring glycosaminoglycan, has affinity for a variety of biomolecules and can also function as an ion-exchange ligand. This chromatography medium is suitable for the separation and purification of coagulation factors, antithrombin III, growth factors, interferon, lipoprotein lipase, nucleic acids, steroid receptor enzymes, and more.
