Description

MaXtar® Protein G is an affinity chromatography resin prepared by conjugating Protein G to a MaXtar® matrix. Protein G binds to the Fc region of various mammalian IgGs and also exhibits a weaker affinity for the Fab region.
With a broader binding spectrum than Protein A, MaXtar® Protein G is ideal for separating and purifying immunoglobulins and their fragments from different liquid samples, such as cell culture medium or serum. It can also be used to isolate immune complexes.
