Description

MaXtar® rProtein A is an affinity chromatography resin created by coupling recombinant protein A to the MaXtar® base matrix, enabling isolation through specific antigen-antibody interactions. This resin is used to purify both monoclonal and polyclonal antibodies. The recombinant protein A, produced by E.coli and engineered with directional coupling, enhances binding capacity while maintaining specific binding to the IgG Fc fragment. Epoxy-based coupling ensures low ligand shedding.
