The 747XP Acoustica XP manufactured by MDF Instruments is an ultra-lightweight aluminum dual-head stethoscope designed for accuracy and comfort. The precisely machined chest piece features an ultra-thin fiber diaphragm to detect high frequency sounds. The full-rotation acoustic valve stem provides an indicator dot to indicate which side is in use. The bell fitted with a non-chill ring provides greater sound amplification for low frequencies and extra comfort for patient.
The thick acoustic tubing which is longer than traditional provide a comfortable distance between the patient and care provider. The latex-free PVC is resistant to cracking and sticking throughout the life of the Acoustica XP. This Deluxe Acustica XP comes with a patented internal metal-alloy chamber below the headset to provide maximum sound transmission. The pre-angled, hand-polished chrome-plated brass headset provides a patented internal dual-leaf spring for safety. The ComfortSeal Eartips available in two sizes are free of phalate and clear for hygienic purposes. The 747XP Acoustica includes an accessory kit which includes two extra sets of ComfortSeal eartips, a spare ultrasensitive fiber diaphragm and an ID tag.
