Nitrifying bacteria nitrify ammonia and organic nitrogen into water and nitrogen in the anoxic zone. The residual sludge volume of the process is very low. Frequent areas of application are in many small residential areas such as towns, cities, villages; camps, restaurants, hotels, factories, etc.
