Direct-Q® systems can be equipped with integrated or external reservoirs and can be used for bench, bench or wall mounting. The system's built-in 185nm UV lamp reduces organic content for critical applications. For applications sensitive to organic contaminants and requiring ultrapure water, a UV version of the Direct-Q® system is also available. It contains a dual-wavelength UV lamp for photo-oxidation of organic compounds. The final purification step at the distribution point is to remove specific contaminants that are critical to the experiment. Use specific point-of-use polishers to remove specific contaminants such as bacteria, particulates, pyrogens, nucleases, endocrine disruptors or volatile organic compounds.
