The Newton SO High Energy Detection Camera is manufactured by Andor Technology, by combining>95% QE back-illuminated sensors, low-noise readout electronics and industry-leading maintenance-free deep TE cooling (down to -100°C), providing Excellent sensitivity performance. It has 1024 x 255 (26 µm pixels) and 2048 x 512 (13.5 µm pixels) matrix options, optimized for high dynamic range, high speed and high spatial resolution spectra in the VUV and soft X-ray range.
