Oligosaccharide Enrichment Mapping and Identification Using Normal Phase PhyTip Columns

Sample processing through a normal-phase PhyTip column for dual-flow chromatography results in specific enrichment of polar compounds such as oligosaccharides. Because of this, normal-phase PhyTip columns are the only commercially available solution for high-throughput oligosaccharide purification for oligosaccharide localization and identification analysis of glycoproteins.
Fluorescent dye labeling is commonly used to improve the detection of oligosaccharides in high performance liquid chromatography and capillary electrophoresis. Normal phase PhyTip columns automatically remove sample dyes prior to identification and quantitation for high throughput and reproducibility.
