Organomation S-EVAP® RB 8 Position Solvent Evaporator for round bottles can concentrate up to 8 samples at a time. The instrument consists of a base and a bracket assembly installed in a shallow circular bathtub. The entire instrument rotates, so all samples can be accessed from the front. At each sample position, a round sample bottle is placed on the bath lid tray and heated by hot water and steam. The solvent boils from the flask and cools in a condenser, which is connected to the centrally located water manifold. The solvent leaves the condenser through specially designed side arms and enters a separate collection bottle. Collecting and recycling solvents separately can reduce laboratory emissions and improve laboratory and environmental safety.
