Pharmagard NU-PR797 Positive Pressure Compounding Aseptic Isolator (CAI) is designed to provide a sterile positive pressure working environment for the mixing of non-hazardous drugs. The NU-PR797 isolator can create a unidirectional flow supply of HEPA filtration in the work area and exchange area at a rate of 20 air changes per minute to ensure that it meets the requirements of ISO Class 5 (formerly Federal Standard 209E, Class 100). The use of unidirectional flow ensures that HEPA filtered air flows continuously between the work area and the exchange area, thereby ensuring sterility and minimizing cross-contamination. An additional filter assembly on the top of the isolator introduces HEPA filtered room air to ensure that the isolator continues to generate positive pressure.
