Distal 3p deletion syndrome is a rare contiguous-gene disorder involving deletion of chromosome 3p25-p26. Characteristic features of distal 3p- syndrome include low birth weight, microcephaly, trigonocephaly, hypotonia, psychomotor and growth retardation, ptosis, telecanthus, downslanting palpebral fissures and microagnathia.
