Niobium pentoxide (Nb2O5) nanoparticles is a promising material for application in many fields due to its properties, such as high specific surface area, high selectivity, and strength of surface acid sites. Several studies have shown that Nb2O5 presents photocatalytic properties, such as selective oxidation of organic contaminants, photodegradation of organic dyes and hydrogen production.
