The specially designed flask from Corning has a processed neck to provide extra strength and uniform stopper fit. Can be used in ASTM E-258 procedures. Care must be taken to ensure that the bottom of the flask does not touch the heating element. Most Kjeldahl equipment manufacturers provide ring supports for this.
