The module consists of a pressure tube and hydraulic disc supported by a central tie rod. An octagonal membrane cushion is located between each two intervertebral discs.
An open flow channel is formed between the hydraulic disc and the membrane pad, where the feedstock solution is concentrated.
The channels are connected together by openings on the disc, and the feed water flows radially through the membrane pad, alternating from the inside to the outside.
The membrane-separated permeat flows into the gasket inside the cushion, radially inward to the center permeat sewer, and flows along the clamp pin to the module's connecting flange. Separation of concentrate and permeate takes place between hydraulic discs and membrane pads.
