The Recombinant Human BCMA Protein, His-Avi Tag manufactured by Yisheng is suitable for studying BCMA-mediated immune responses. BCMA (B Cell Maturation Antigen) is a member of the TNF receptor superfamily (TNFRSF17). BCMA and TACI have both been shown to bind to APRIL and BAFF, members of the TNF ligand superfamily. BCMA expression has been found in immune organs and mature B cell lines. The binding of BCMA to APRIL or BAFF has been shown to stimulate IgM production in peripheral blood B cells and increase the survival of cultured B cells.

It contains Met1-Ala54. Molecular Weight: The protein has a predicted MW of 29.5 kDa. Due to glycosylation, the protein migrates to 30-48 kDa based on Tris-Bis PAGE result. Purity: > 95% as determined by Tris-Bis PAGE and HPLC. Endotoxin: < 1.0 EU per 1μg of the protein by the LAL method. Formulation: Lyophilized from 0.22 μm filtered solution in PBS (pH 7.4). Normally 5% trehalose is added as protectant before lyophilization. Reconstitution: Centrifuge tubes before opening. Reconstituting to a concentration more than 100 μg/ml` is recommended. Dissolve the lyophilized protein in distilled water.
