Simport Cryovial, External Thread Design with Lip Seal manufactured by Simport Scientific comes with a cap with lip seal design to provide a leakproof seal even at very low temperatures. The cap features a long skirt for one hand aseptic methods, and a super fast thread design that allows tightening or removal with a mere 1 1/4 turn, and an inside thread design that will not contribute to possible contamination. Both tube and cap are manufactured from the polypropylene, ensuring the same expansion coefficient, and therefore a secure seal both at room temperature and at low cryogenic temperatures.
