The Sorvall RC-5C Plus ultracentrifuge is designed to separate substances of varying densities within a controlled temperature range. Using state-of-the-art centrifugation technology, the RC-5C Plus offers superior functionality, durability, and simple operation. The strategic combination of its outstanding properties guarantees high-quality dense separations in the shortest possible time.

Equipped with a Relative Centrifugal Force (RCF) calculator, the RC-5C Plus allows users to calculate the RCF before running and display it at any time during the run. This Sorvall centrifuge incorporates an integrator that can be used as a control or display, or both. The RC-5C Plus system also uses a refrigeration system powered by SUVA® refrigerant, a cfc replacement coolant produced by Kendro. In addition, the system adopts automatic temperature compensation system and automatic rate control slow start and slow stop.

Operating conditions for the Sorvall RC-5C Plus centrifuge are selected using the front control panel, while actual operating conditions are displayed in real-time on an easy-to-read display. To avoid centrifuge failure, the built-in microcomputer automatically performs a self-check procedure once the centrifuge is started.
