Featuring an ultra-reliable DC motor and integrated drive, the Sorval RT7 benchtop centrifuge is ideal for high-volume processing applications or frequent use where clean room requirements exist. The centrifuge accelerates to a top speed of 7000 rpm and 5856 grams, while providing automatic slow start to 500 rpm and braking to 200 rpm, then coasting to a stop. These machines have a low height for easy loading and unloading and one-hand door operation.

Offering up to 50% more gravity and three times the capacity, RT7 machines run two swing buckets and a fixed angle rotor over other comparable centrifuge models. Each accepts wide tube adapters to accommodate everything from 1.5 ml microcentrifuge tubes to 750 ml vials with a maximum volume capacity of 3 liters.
