The Thermo IEC Centra-GP8 series are general purpose centrifuges designed for use in medical, industrial and scientific laboratories. The Centra-GP8 series uses an 822A rotor to generate a maximum relative centrifugal force of 4630 times gravity. The centrifuge will accommodate a range of centrifuge tubes and equipment, including 750ml bottles, microplates, cytology slide carriers and microsample tubes. The maximum sample load is 3 liters. The Thermo IEC Centra-GP8 features an ergonomic touchpad control panel, bright, easy-to-read LED display. The unit can operate in manual mode, hold or one of 35 programmable operations.
