Tunable KiloArc Illuminator is manufactured by HORIBA Scientific. This product is a continuously adjustable high-intensity laser. It can produce tunable monochromatic light with a power of hundreds of milliwatts and provide an overall usable spectral output of 180 nm to 24 µm. The Illuminator consists of a unique arc lampshade tightly coupled to a 0.2m monochromator. It is a self-aligning illuminator that produces hundreds of milliwatts of intensity and provides versatility in continuous wavelength and bandwidth selection. The wavelength can be set manually or scanned under computer control. The system is air-cooled and does not require ozone emissions.
