Type 9A Electrical Stimulator, model 9A is manufactured by Yuyan Instrument Co., Ltd.
Type 9A stimulator is a multi-purpose square wave stimulator with a wide output voltage range, up to 200V, and has a current limiting protection function. The current limit is adjustable and the maximum output current is 4mA. The stimulation output is completely isolated from the control circuit, and various types of output square waves can be customized through parameter settings. The output can be triggered by a switch or an external input signal. When an external input signal is triggered, it can be set to a delayed output, and the delay time is adjustable. The output square wave includes three waveforms: positive pulse, positive pulse + delay + negative pulse, and positive pulse + negative pulse. The number of output pulses is adjustable, and the output process voltage can be adjusted at will, which can suit the needs of various experiments such as physiology and pharmacology.

Bidirectional pulse: Bidirectional pulse solves the problem of using one polar direction stimulation for a long time to produce a polar electrolytic reaction around the electrode, thus protecting the nerves, muscles, blood vessels and other tissues in contact with the electrode, and reducing the tissue polarization effect.
It solves the problem of low stimulation voltage of some biological signal acquisition and processing systems.
When the output current exceeds the current limit value, the instrument automatically reduces the pulse amplitude so that the current does not exceed the set value.
Because the output voltage and current are adjustable, it serves as a signal amplification and waveform shaping.
