Ultimate Security Cryogenic Vial manufactured by Alpha Laboratories is made from a special grade of polypropylene. The thick-wall vial is almost unbreakable and can withstand the harsh -196°C temperature of vapour phase liquid nitrogen, making it ideal for safe, ultra-low temperature storage of biological material, human or animal cells. The cap and tube are made from the same material so with temperature change, they shrink and expand in unison ensuring an equally secure seal both at room temperature and at low cryogenic temperatures. Each Ultimate Security vial has a silicone sealing washer compressed on all four of its sides, combined with an internal flange that secures the seal and reduces the risk of contaminating the cap. This unique combination provides the highest level of security for your most precious samples.
