UNDERSIZED SAM 24 MICROSOUND Fan Filter Unit 12246 SAM24 MS GS US manufactured by Clean Rooms International provides clean air for cleanroom applications. It is designed for ceiling T-Bar openings of 22"×46". Actual size is 23-1/8"×47-1/8".
Standard Equipments: 99.99% efficient HEPA filter, 30% ASHRAE pleated type prefilter, seismic clip suspension points, safety switch, variable speed control with RFI suppression.
Housings are made of steel with a white powder coating and seismic clip suspension points.
N310 motor blower: energy efficient, single-phase electric power, low watt backward curved impeller, permanent split capacitor, overheat protection. The operating current is 0.6 Amps for 277 Volt And 1.6 Amps for 115 Volt.
Final filters are protected by a white epoxy diamond pattern grille and are tested in accordance with the Institute of Environmental Sciences (IEST) and ISO standards. Standard HEPA filters are 99.99% efficient and optional ULPA filters are 99.9995% efficient.
A polystyrene eggcrate grille in an anodized aluminum frame can be easily open to replace the filter without removing the unit. Perforated stainless steel or aluminum grilles are optional.
Safety Switch can safely interrupt the operation of the unit.
Variable Speed Control allows each unit to be fine tuned to meet air flow requirements.

Description: 2'×4' GS Style HEPA Filter, 99.99% eff. @ 0.3 micron

GS Filter Data: The HEPA Filter with upstream gel channel is 90 FPM average face velocity @ initial 0.47 w.g. and 99.99% efficient @ 0.3µm. An access port with removable plug is located in the center of the filter element face for introducing an upstream challenge or measuring static pressure.
Air Flow: Airflow ranges from 340 to 640 CFM for a 2'×4' unit and 220 to 340 CFM for a 2'×2' unit. At 90 FPM, CFM is nominal 510 on a 2'×4' and 220 on a 2'×2' unit respectively. Airflow for units running at 50 Hz will be about 20% less.

EBM motors are efficient with low energy consumption.
CRI SAMlink Control System can be applied to SAM units with EBM motors.
Four seismic clips at all corners with strong seismic capacity provide stable suspension points.
Each unit can be fine tuned by Solid-state variable speed control with RFI suppression to meet air flow requirements.
Most units are UL Listed with all electrical components UL Listed or UL Recognized.
