The Vertical Laminar Flow Workstation provides an ISO 5 aseptic environment for handling sensitive materials. The work area is continuously flushed with ISO 5 HEPA filtered air to protect the product or application from airborne contamination. These workstation is made of high-quality thermoplastics to facilitate cleaning and maintenance. The main chamber is made of polycarbonate and the bottom is made of high-density polypropylene. The main advantages of polypropylene are that it is non-absorbent, non-sticky and does not break when exposed to harsh hard surface disinfectants. For applications or equipment with higher height requirements, Vertical Laminar Flow Workstation has a higher version. The higher version is ideally suited for packaging machines in compound pharmaceutical applications. Vertical Laminar Flow Workstation is easy to operate. The fully enclosed window frame is equipped with a position indicator switch, which automatically turns on the blower and fluorescent lamp of the workstation when lifted. Unlike other workstations, the main advantage of Vertical Laminar Flow Workstation is the fully enclosed window frame. When not in use, the chamber is sealed to prevent air pollutants from entering the fume hood.
