Description

Whatman® Antibiotic Assay Discs is manufactured by Cytiva. This product is used to determine the type of pathogen of infectious diseases and to check its sensitivity to antibiotics and chemotherapeutics in vitro. The test disc can be coated with a chemotherapeutic agent, placed on the inoculated nutrient agar and incubated. The size of the inhibition zone is a measure of the effectiveness of the substance.
