Viscous samples, detergents and other low surface tension liquids are easy to interact with standard pipette tips, thus forming a thin liquid film on the inner wall of the pipette tips. This effect results in the pipetting inaccuracy and inconsistency, as well as the loss of precious reagents. Low Retention GripTips is made of a unique polypropylene blend to achieve high hydrophobic properties. The use of Low Retention GripTips prevents low surface tension samples from spreading out and "wetting" the tip inner wall, making them beaded to maximize liquid recovery. GripTips are particularly suitable for INTEGRA pipettes and packed in stackable boxes (non-sterile, sterile and filtered), coming with color-coded inserts corresponding to the volume range of INTEGRA pipettes.
