Wide Mouth Dewar Flasks provided by STE-Mart come with a weighted metal base for stability and a full length aluminum housing which extends to the top rim for added protection. The flask is used in conjunction with the cold trap to effectively prevent the chemical substance (solvent) in the reaction system from being sucked into the vacuum pump.
