WLD3343 is a general-purpose laser diode driver that uses electronic devices compatible with any type of laser diode to maintain precise laser diode current (constant current mode) or stable photodiode current (constant power mode). It delays and slowly increases the current to provide maximum protection. Provide a current of up to 2.2 A to your laser diode through a single + 5 V power supply. To run on 3.6 V (for lithium ion batteries), try WLD3343HB. The online circuit calculator tool speeds up the selection of external component values (see the "Design Tools" tab). The evaluation board can be used to simplify the prototype: WLD3393. Provide a heat dissipation solution using WLD3343 at full current.
