Description

XRD-Mill McCrone was specifically developed to prepare samples for subsequent X-ray diffraction (XRD). Due to its unique grinding motion, XRD-Mill McCrone is particularly effective for this analysis method: 48 cylindrical grinding elements gently grind the sample with friction. As a result, the grinding time is short, there is almost no sample loss, and the particle size distribution is extremely narrow. The lattice is almost completely preserved during the grinding process, which is the prerequisite for obtaining meaningful X-ray diffraction results.
