AC500 is a manual desktop stand-alone unit using a completely integrated circulation system. It features a small footprint, and is easy to operate using Windows®-based software. The AC500 has an integrated water measurement and combustion vessel filling station, which make sample preparation simple without the need for additional heaters or coolers. An electronic thermometer with accuracy to 0.0001°C measures the water temperature every six seconds. The AC500 also can continuously monitor the temperature in the jacket and calorimeter, enabling two-channel correction.
