The HSM 2.0 Large-Volume Nucleic Acid Isolation Workstations is manufactured by Promega. With its ability to heat, vibrate and apply magnetic field, HSM 2.0 provides integrated processing capacity for various large capacity purification chemists in the form of manual or automatic. The instrument uses standard 50ml conical tube, magnet and reagent-based paramagnetic particles (PMPs). PMPs provide a mobile solid phase, which can optimize the capture, washing and elution of biological target molecules. For fully automatic purification, the HSM 2.0 instrument can be integrated with a robot liquid processing workstation, which can process 32 samples in 4.5 hours.
