Application: The Valiant ™ Thoracic Stent Implant System with Captivia ™ Delivery System is designed to perform intravascular repair of all lesions of the descending aorta (DTA) in patients with appropriate anatomy, including:<br />Iliac/femoral access vessel morphology compatible with vascular access techniques, devices, and/or accessories;<br />Nonaneurysmal aortic diameter ranging from 18mm to 42mm (fusiform and saccular aneurysms / penetrating ulcers), 18mm to 44mm (blunt aortic injury) or 20mm to 44mm (anatomical); <br />Nonaneurysmal aortic proximal and distal neck length ≥20mm (fusiform and saccular aneurysm / penetrating ulcer), landing area ≥20 mm near the main entrance tear (blunt aortic injury, anatomy) . The proximal extent of the landing area must not be dissected.
