BioGlue Surgical Adhesive (CAT#: AM-MP-0020-LC)

The two components of BioGlue, purified bovine serum albumin (BSA) and glutaraldehyde, are distributed via a controlled delivery system. After dispensing, the two ingredients are completely mixed inside the applicator tip. After applying BioGlue to the tissue at the repair site, a flexible mechanical seal can be formed, which has nothing to do with the body's coagulation mechanism.
BioGlue starts to polymerize in 20 to 30 seconds and achieves full strength in two minutes. BioGlue also adheres to synthetic graft materials through mechanical adhesion in the interstitial space of the graft matrix.
