Analysis of IGF-1R (Human) by MSD Hypersensitive Multi-Factor Electrochemiluminescence Analyzer (CAT#: STEM-MB-0277-LGZ)

Introduction

IGF-I R (Insulin-like Growth Factor I Receptor) is a receptor for insulin-like growth factor 1, belongs to receptor tyrosine kinases (receptor tyrosine kinases, RTKs), and is a member of the insulin receptor subfamily. IGF-l R is a kind of transmembrane receptor, the extracellular α subunit determines the specificity of ligand binding, and the transmembrane β subunit passes through the cell membrane and conducts ligand-induced signals. IGF-lR can be activated by insulin-like growth factor (IGF-I or IGF-II), causing phosphorylation of its own tyrosine kinase domain and initiating intracellular signal transduction to regulate cell growth and differentiation.

Principle

MSD electrochemiluminescence technology is mainly based on ultra-sensitive multi-factor electrochemiluminescence analyzer MES0 Sector600 or Quickplex SQ120. Through dot matrix technology, the detection of 10 indicators per well can be realized in the 96-hole graphite electrode plate. It can also be customized to realize the screening detection of 100 index wells in a 24-well plate.

Applications

Phosphoproteins, Intracellular Signaling

Procedure

1. Coat the capture antibody on the well plate.
2. Add samples/calibrators.
3. Add detection antibody.
4. Read the plate and analyze the data.

Materials

• Sample Type: Plasma, Serum
